The Paris Workplace 2015 drew up a map of the neighbourhoods preferred by executives in the Paris region. For this 2016 edition, Ifop surveyed all employees in Paris and carried out the same exercise in London. Employees in both cities were asked to rate their satisfaction with 30 workplace-related items. What were the results?

London employees' favourite neighbourhoods

In London, it is the central districts that top the rankings. The 'historic' Victorian districts of Westminster (1st) and Kensington & Chelsea (2nd) are ahead of the City business district (3rd).

Parisian employees' favourite neighbourhoods

Paris is seriously tilted to the west. The top 5 neighbourhoods in the ranking - 13 zones are tested in the study - are located in Western Paris. Paris Centre-Ouest, home to Paris' Central Business District, remains at the top of the list this year, ahead of Paris Rive Gauche (2nd). La Défense climbs one step to 3rd place in the 2016 rankings, ahead of the South Loop (Boulogne-Billancourt, Issy-les-Moulineaux).
