\"Building a world without waste\" is the mission of Ph\u00e9nix, which works with players in the food and retail sectors to make the most of unsold produce. An application puts them in touch with consumers, offering them baskets at low prices.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ph\u00e9nix specialises in the fight against waste. What about in your offices?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Of course, we have to be consistent between our mission and our day-to-day actions. This is all the more natural as this desire for virtuous behaviour in the office is enhanced by the habits of the people we recruit<\/strong> some are extremely committed, others are simply sensitive to it... not everyone is at exactly the same stage, but the group effect has a very positive impact<\/strong>. As a company, we encourage a number of actions, such as travel - always choosing the train rather than the plane, even for international journeys - or reuse by using reconditioned appliances. It's not a problem, today's new generation is more aware, they're not so attracted by the latest iPhone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can the office be a place where eco-actions can be \"acculturated\"?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yes, it's through contact with others that habits are forged<\/strong>. When you have the means to adopt virtuous behaviour and everyone does it, you no longer have any excuses. As you can see, everyone 'steals' the habits of others, bringing good practices home with them, while others, on the other hand, start to apply at home the habits adopted at the office. Collective intelligence works completely, and it's important that the company leads the way.<\/strong> And they're also great times: we often organise meals together and \"shake the fridge\" in the office. It's all part of feeling good at work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have partnerships with other companies: how do you ensure that your battles spread?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We have launched a 'No Waste Lab', based on data we collect from other companies we work with.<\/strong>. This helps to identify good practice,<\/strong> and see what improvements can be made in their food ecosystem. With Sodexo, we have a partnership to help catering establishments reduce their waste and adopt the reflex of donating food. We work a lot with supermarkets: we've noticed that the more we help them to throw away less, the more they want to go further in their green approach. Good practice leads to more good practice!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
