These protective habits must continue in the office. Against a backdrop of financial, ecological and health crises, terrorism and mistrust of institutions, the office must be a serene, reassuring place, conducive to trust. Once this basis has been established, workspaces, particularly for young people, will be able to encourage the sharing and transmission of the company's culture. If the amount of time spent in the office is decreasing, we need to ensure that the layout and atmosphere encourage this sharing of culture and the transmission of good behaviour. The office is also a crucible for the emergence of new ideas.

How can this be reflected in the design of our spaces?

Obviously, you need a impeccable ergonomicsThis is particularly true of acoustics and lighting. The tools - IT, audiovisual, but also low-tech - must be high-performance and easy to access. Design must reflect the company's mindset and encourage virtuous behaviourall in line with management.

How can we translate these CSR commitments and make them visible in the office?

If a company has a strong social mission, it has to be felt in everyday lifeits decoration and layout. Employees don't feel it directly when a building has HQE certification. On the other hand, the fact that there are the fight against waste, using natural or recycled materials is much more visible ! Day-to-day office life doesn't necessarily have a huge impact on sustainable development, especially when compared with the efforts that can be made on building materials or energy renovation work, but it does have an impact on the environment. in terms of corporate culture, this is crucial. Everyone must be able to play a part in these initiatives: acting at their own level to remain consistent with their personal convictions, or taking part in collective initiatives to go further.

Green spaces have a direct impact on well-being in the workplace: how do you address this issue?

It's true that nature has a huge impact. Generally speaking, it's the outdoor space that plays a vital role. Being able to go outside, to perceive the noise of the city, the air on your face, the daylight, is extremely important in a working day. You have a better grasp of the space around you and feel less out of phase. We do so many things in the course of a day, and it's beneficial to change our posture and atmosphere. So you need to be able to vary your office experiences, and have access to the outdoors, to terraces or gardens.

Tancrède Le Pichon, Chairman and founder of Hauteur Libre

[9
post-1620","article-etude","type-article-etude","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categorie-article-etude-interview
["GET
